I KNOW, I KNOW...

Yes, I know that today is the sixth anniversary of the horrid attack on our country. What can be said about it that has not already been said?

For me, I spent the day continuing to believe that there is far more good in this world than evil. And I will keep on believing that.

"Love consists in this, that two solitudes protect and touch and greet each other." ~Rainer Maria Rilke

This was not the entry I was expecting from the picture, but the last passage makes it all fit together.  I used to believe that there was more good than evil in the world, but I'm really starting to doubt that lately.  Seems as if things have been steadily going down hill over the past few years.

/That is a beautiful picture. It would have done Picasso's blue period proud. There is a belief that you cannot have good without having bad..the ying/yang of life. Perhaps there is truth there. We don't have to like it and we can rage against evil but it does exist.   Take care...Sandi

I agree that the evil in the world only exists to give face to the good. The world is inherently good, we have to believe that.

Good to see you, as always.

I have & will continue to believe that good is more powerful than evil. While 'we' as a nation cannot ignore the evil ... 'we' also must live our lives as we did before 9/11.
